FIRST COURSE ON "BIOAESTHETIC LAYERING"

FIRST COURSE ON 'BIOAESTHETIC LAYERING'

On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June a practical course on metal-ceramic was held at the training centre of Reox by Fabiano Bolzani entitled "Bioaesthetic layering".

This course, focussed on Art Oral KM ceramics, was attended by dental technicians from Luxembourg, Germany and Italy.

After the presentation of Fabiano, who analysed scrupulously every metallic structure, the course included the ceramization of a group of four elements 11-12-13-14, and of a molar 16.

Fabiano started by laying the opaque, and then masterfully described its characteristics, and the best way to dilute it, without the addition of liquids.

The course was enriched with a show of images of some cases brilliantly solved by Fabiano thanks to the technique of "permeability", defined by himself as repetitive and easy, and that leads to an excellent aesthetic result.

He invited the technicians present to try mixing the masses, only changing the proportions to understand the colour characteristics, and especially to be able to know the effects that each individual mass can have when it is inserted in a space with a spot in the tooth.

In the final stages of the course, he demonstrated in theory and practice how to achieve on ceramic a perfect texture and a mechanical polishing adapted to individual cases.

The course, held in Italian, was translated into German by Fabio Angelini, sales manager for Reox.

Thanks also to Massimo and Roberto, and a big thank you to Francesca for the perfect organisation.
