ART ORAL DAY - THE DAY AFTER

ART ORAL DAY - THE DAY AFTER

The DAY AFTER is the title of an old movie of the 80s about a story of devastation caused by the stupidity of man who had almost managed to self-destroy mankind and ruin all the good things that done in the world having to start all over again.

This brings to mind two analogies with the Art Oral day which has just ended.

The first is the reference to destruction. I have seen the destruction of the barriers that keep separated dental technicians and dentists. I have at last seen the bonding between high profile speakers in this case, and the public, which to define it as such is quite restrictive for the active participation it had, and also ALL the members of the business organisation, the people who physically worked to create the product lines, the sellers, the graphics.

And which is the second point?

The second point is starting from scratch. We start from scratch with a new situation. Like in the movie. All to be redone but with a lot of background experience. What we all need is a renewed spirit of collaboration and sharing that puts aside the little personal quarrels and aims at a larger goal which is that of growth through examples and guidelines that are contained within the Art Oral philosophy.

When you begin a new adventure you have to face great doubts. Some come and go to disturb you at night, others accompany you every minute to remind you how crazy you were to choose your path. This has also been my feeling of recent times.

Yesterday, there was a moment when all things dovetailed perfectly and we created that atmosphere of sharing and joy which was also our intent starting right from the title: SHARING DENTAL  EXPERIENCES.

The report of Fabiano Bolzani has sealed his professionalism. Years of conferences and courses in Italy and abroad certified by the compliments of Klaus.

Derk Jan de Haan showed detail and joy in discussing an idea of completely metal-free work without supports in his all-ceramic works.

Posture with Pierfrancesco Bertolaso, an interlude that brought to the fore a topic now rarely used but that in the future will give many ideas and work opportunities.

Park Chul Han surprised everyone with its futuristic presentation and showed us how even the new technicians of the land of the rising sun are well trained, an even greater amazement for the relationship of Dr. Shin Jun Hyouk with Kim Chang Whan and their fully digital working system without forgetting the fundamental concept that stems from the planning combined with knowledge and aesthetic flair.

Last but not least the performance of Klaus who as always was able to create excitement with his passionate vision of dental technology and aesthetics. Once again he gave the impression of playing ahead of his time for the strength that he gave to his presentation, an example for young people, a confirmation for others. A truly brilliant mind and an absolutely winning way of communicating, a real number one.

And then Massimiliano Trombin. Great, perfect in the role of chairman and in dictating the timing of an event that had also become difficult to manage due to the density of contents.

Other precious element: the variety of people in the room.

Backgrounds from all regions Italian Sicily, Campania, Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Lombardy and Veneto and Friuli of course, but also the Netherlands Germany and Luxembourg and even from Lebanon in a beautiful meeting and crossing of languages that created a friendly and joyful climate during the final dinner.

And now here I am, in the Day After, as I read and I respond to a multitude of messages that arrive to compliment us, which along with a few hundred Web interactions are a big incentive to improve further, to create something great to help the industry recover well in the game and especially to help young people who are our future, despite often being mistreated (and sometimes with good reason).

This is the spirit of philosophy, this is ART ORAL

See you next year!
